Cookie Policy
Last updated: 11 August 2026
This page lists the cookies and similar technology autofarmbots.com uses, what each one is for, and how to turn the optional ones off. Read it with the Privacy Policy.
A cookie is a small file a site stores in your browser. Pixels, local storage, and tracking scripts do much the same job, and everything on this page applies to them too.
1. Where we have got to
If you are in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or Switzerland, a banner asks you before anything in sections 3 and 4 may run. Reject is as easy to press as Accept, and nothing in those sections loads until you answer. Press Deny and it stays that way.
Everywhere else the banner does not appear, because local law works on an opt-out basis. Section 5 tells you how to opt out.
2. Cookies we need to run the site
These do jobs you asked for. Without them the shop, the login, and the security checks stop working, so there is no way to switch them off and still use the site.
| Cookie or script | Set by | What it does | How long |
|---|---|---|---|
woocommerce_cart_hash, woocommerce_items_in_cart | Our shop | Remembers what is in your basket | The browser session |
wp_woocommerce_session_* | Our shop | Links your basket and checkout to you | 2 days |
wordpress_logged_in_*, wp-settings-* | WordPress | Keeps you signed in to your account | Session, up to 1 year |
| LiteSpeed page cache | Our host | Serves pages fast | Short lived |
__cf_bm | Cloudflare | Tells a person from a bot and blocks attacks on our site | 30 minutes |
3. Cookies that measure how the site is used
These tell us which pages work and which do not. Turning them off costs you nothing.
| Cookie or script | Set by | What it does | How long |
|---|---|---|---|
_ga, _ga_* | Google Analytics 4 | Counts visitors and shows which pages they read | Up to 2 years |
Google tag, id GT-P8V266T5 | Loads the other tags on this page | No cookie of its own | |
sbjs_first, sbjs_current, sbjs_session, sbjs_udata, sbjs_migrations | Our shop | Records which site or advert sent you, so we know what is worth running | 6 months |
Google Analytics data is kept for 14 months and then deleted.
4. Cookies for advertising and messaging
| Cookie or script | Set by | What it does | How long |
|---|---|---|---|
_gcl_au | Google Ads | Measures whether a Google advert led to a sale | 90 days |
test_cookie, DoubleClick requests | Checks whether your browser accepts advertising cookies | 15 minutes |
5. How to turn the optional ones off today
On this site. Open your cookie settings and change what you allow. The change takes effect at once, and we keep a dated record of it.
In your browser. Every browser can block or delete cookies for one site. Look for Privacy and Security in the settings, then Cookies and site data. Blocking third party cookies stops most of sections 3 and 4 without breaking the shop.
With a browser feature or extension. Firefox Enhanced Tracking Protection, Safari Intelligent Tracking Prevention, and any reputable content blocker will stop the analytics and advertising scripts on this site.
Google Analytics specifically. Google publishes an opt-out add-on for desktop browsers that stops Analytics reporting on every site you visit.
Ask us. Email [email protected] and we will delete the analytics and marketing records tied to you, as far as each supplier lets us.
Blocking the cookies in section 2 will break the basket, the checkout, or the login. That is not us being awkward, it is what those cookies do.
6. Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control
Most sites ignore the browser Do Not Track header, because no standard ever said what it should mean. We do not read it either, and we are not going to pretend otherwise.
Global Privacy Control is different, because it is a clear refusal rather than a preference. Our consent banner does not read it automatically yet. If your browser sends it and you want that honoured now, email [email protected] and we will act on it. When we can read the signal automatically, this paragraph will say so.
7. Changes
We will update this page when a script is added or removed. The date at the top shows the last edit. When the consent banner goes live, section 1 comes off this page and a Cookie Settings link appears in the footer.
8. Contact
Email [email protected] with any question about this page, or to ask us to stop using a cookie described here.
